Monika Morawiecka has over 20 years of experience in the energy sector. Principal at the Regulatory Assistance Project (RAP), an independent think tank with a global reach, working towards a sustainable, secure and cost-effective energy transition. Co-founder of the Expert Council for Energy Security and Climate, fostering dialogue in areas crucial to improving Poland's energy security and climate action. Member of the Advisory Council of Green Deal Ukraïna, a project supporting Ukraine on energy issues on the path to EU membership. Member of the Foundation Council of Reform Institute, a think tank supporting development of public policies in Poland, Europe and globally. Member of the Supervisory Board of OX2, a Stockholm-based developer of wind, PV and BESS projects in Europe and Australia. Previously, she spent 15 years at the PGE Group. From 2010, she was responsible for group strategy and regulatory affairs at national and EU level. Between 2019-2021, she was the CEO of PGE Baltica, coordinating the development of offshore wind farms in the Baltic Sea. In 2013-2018, she was also a member of the Management Board of the Polish Electricity Association. She holds an MA from the Warsaw School of Economics in Finance and Banking and the CEMS Master of International Management diploma.
