Top 100 Women in Biotech in Poland

Biotech is one of the foundations of the modern world — driving scientific discovery, medical breakthroughs, sustainable solutions, and innovations that directly impact human health and quality of life. From cutting-edge research and novel therapies to bioengineering, bioinformatics, and synthetic biology, biotech professionals are shaping the future of science and society.

Today, as the global demand for highly skilled experts in biotech continues to grow, it is crucial that women play an active and visible role in shaping this future. Despite the undeniable contributions of women scientists, innovators, and leaders, biotech — like many STEM fields — still faces gender imbalance, underrepresentation in leadership, and persistent stereotypes.

To recognize and celebrate the outstanding women who are transforming the biotech ecosystem in Poland and beyond, the Perspektywy Women in Tech Foundation launches the “Top 100 Women in Biotech in Poland” initiative.

This program aims not only to honor exceptional women working across the biotech sector, but also to inspire future generations to pursue careers in science, research, and innovation — and to break existing barriers.

The initiative will culminate in a prestigious awards ceremony, during which we will announce the Top 10 Women in Biotech in Poland. Their achievements will be celebrated at the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2026, the largest event for women in technology and science in Europe and Central Asia.

We are looking for leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers, educators, and advocates — women who are shaping the present and future of biotechnology.

If you know an outstanding woman working in biotech — whether in Poland or internationally — nominate her to become part of the Top 100 Women in Biotech in Poland.
