We are thrilled to announce that Perspektywy Women in Tech has been honored with the prestigious Crown of Equality 2024 (Korony Równości) award in the BUSINESS category by the Campaign Against Homophobia (Kampania Przeciw Homofobii) for our unwavering commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in technology, business, and the workplace. This recognition shines a spotlight on the incredible impact of our work, particularly for this year’s Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit and the accompanying event “Future of Tech is Queer,” organized in collaboration with Roche, Netflix, ING, and LesWhoTech.

Receiving this award is a testament to our 17 years of advocacy, during which we have worked tirelessly to support, inspire, and connect women in technology while fostering an environment where everyone—regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or background—feels seen, respected, and empowered.
This year, through the “Future of Tech is Queer” initiative, we aimed to highlight the vital contributions of LGBTQ+ individuals in shaping the tech and IT industries. By showcasing their creativity, passion, and commitment to equality, we emphasized the transformative power of diversity in driving innovation and creating inclusive workplaces. From powerful panel discussions featuring leaders in technology and LGBTQ+ advocacy to deeply personal “Living Libraries” that shared authentic stories of courage and resilience, the event was a celebration of authenticity and the limitless potential of diverse perspectives.
The highlight of “Future of Tech is Queer” was the vibrant and joyous rainbow parade that marched through the halls of Expo XXI during the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2024. Thousands of attendees celebrated unity, visibility, and the enduring belief that the future of tech is one that belongs to everyone.
