Top Women in Data Science

The “Perspektywy” Education Foundation, organizer of the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2024, i.e., Europe’s biggest conference for women in technology, prepared a list of TOP Women in Data Science – a non-ranked list of exceptional women (Polish and foreign, but working in Poland) professionally dealing with the issue of Cloud Computing. Launch 13th May.

The world of data science has seen tremendous growth in recent years, and Poland is no exception. As more and more companies automate their operations, the need for skilled professionals in this field is increasing. While the tech industry has traditionally been male-dominated, there are many women in Poland who are making significant contributions to data science. In recognition of their achievements, the "Perspektywy" Education Foundation, the organizer of the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2024, has prepared a list of Top Women in Data Science in Poland: https://womenintechsummit.pl/top-100-women-in-data-science

Women are really important for making data science better and shaping its future. Their different ideas and perspectives help create a digital world that's fair for everyone. With their contributions, we can solve more problems and make better decisions using data. - Bianka Siwińska, CEO, Perspektywy Education Foundation.

The list is a non-ranked collection of exceptional women who are professionally engaged in the field of data science in Poland. Its goal is to promote these women as role models and to inspire young women to consider careers in data science. As with the previous lists, the foundation aims to address the gender disparity in the tech industry and to encourage more women to pursue STEM fields.

Out of the list, the jury consisting of experts in data science chaired by Dominika Bettman, General Manager of Microsoft in Poland will choose TOP 10 Women in Data Science in Poland. The jury:

● Dominika Bettman, General Manager Microsoft in Poland,

● Piotr Sankowski - CEO, Ideas NCBiR,

● Edith Elkind - Professor, University of Oxford,

● Katarzyna Szymielewicz - CEO, Fundacja Panoptykon,

● Kamila Staryga - CEO, Rita Health.

The Top Women in Data Science in Poland are selected based on their professional achievements in the field, their contributions to the industry, and their potential to influence and shape the future of data science. The list features women from various backgrounds, including academia, industry, and government.

The Top Women in Data Science in Poland list is an important recognition of the contributions that women are making to the field of data science. It showcases the diverse range of talent and expertise that exists in Poland and encourages more women to pursue careers in this growing field. The final TOP 10 Women in Data Science list selected by the jury will be officially announced during the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2024, which will provide an opportunity for these women to share their experiences and insights with others in the industry.
