Paulina Sobieszuk

Paulina Sobieszuk is a Senior Product Researcher at JetBrains, where she partners with the Kotlin team to turn curiosity into questions and insights into product strategy. With over 7 years of experience in UX research, from general consumer tech to specialized developer tools, she brings a thoughtful, data-informed approach to understanding people and shaping products. Before moving into tech, Paulina earned an MA in Sociology and worked in NGOs as a project manager, trainer, and facilitator. Her own career pivot began in her thirties, first as a product trainer at a startup, then into UX research at scale. She’s driven by a need to make sense of things, loves asking “why?” (repeatedly), and enjoys helping others uncover their skills and stories so they can move toward careers that truly fit them.
