Associate Professor at the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Biology, University of Gdańsk. Her work focuses on developing innovative strategies against antimicrobial resistance through engineered thermostable enzymes, antimicrobial peptides, and anti-biofilm technologies. Her current projects aim to establish one of Poland’s largest collections of uropathogenic bacterial strains and to develop new solutions for eliminating biofilm-associated urinary tract infections. The latest project is supported by the Medical Research Agency under the TRANSMED I programme.
