Eddie Shigeta

Eddie Shigeta is a Senior Manager of AI Development at Hitachi Vantara, based in Denver, Colorado. With over a decade of experience in the IT industry, Eddie has a proven track record of leading innovative projects and driving technological advancements. As a Japanese American, Eddie brings a unique perspective to his role, fostering diversity and inclusion.

In his current role, Eddie leads AI initiatives, leveraging GenAI principles to implement advanced AI solutions, enhancing the company's digital presence and employee experience.

Prior to his current position, Eddie held roles including as a Solutions Architect, ServiceNow HR Product Manager and Manager of the Global IT Service Desk. He has extensive experience in managing enterprise-impacting initiatives, incorporating Agile methodologies, and advocating ITIL practices.

Eddie holds a degree in International Affairs and Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is also certified in key areas, including ServiceNow HR Implementation, System Administration, and Project Management.

Outside of work, Eddie enjoys fitness, cooking (in the process of writing a cookbook), and spending time with his dog, Marron.
