Monika Michalska is a graduate of AGH University of Kraków, where she earned her degree in Environmental Engineering with a specialization in Renewable Energy Sources. For over 13 years, she has been actively involved in Waste-to-Energy projects within the waste management sector, contributing to the transformation of how we perceive and utilize waste.
Currently serving as Commercial Director at Geocycle Polska, Monika combines strategic leadership with a strong commitment to sustainable innovation. Beyond her professional role, she is a passionate advocate for circular thinking—using her online presence, known as “The Waste Lady," (Pani od odpadów) to challenge common misconceptions and demonstrate that waste can be a valuable resource rather than a problem. Through her work and voice, Monika inspires a more responsible and forward-thinking approach to sustainability, proving that meaningful change starts with how we see the world around us.
