Karolina supports the Affiliate Security, which collaborates with organizations working alongside Bayer. She focuses on enhancing the development and maturity of these organizations, operating in Europe, based on Bayer's security requirements and in accordance with GRC standards.
Her day-to-day responsibilities include conducting security assessments, reporting security threats, and supporting the development and fulfillment of security requirements among affiliates to uphold the highest standards within the organization. This role also involves building relationships and collaboration, which Karolina finds most rewarding, as she has a personal passion for social psychology.
Additionally, she supports women's initiatives in IT/OT and is a mentor in projects aimed at empowering women in this field. She spent nearly 15 years in Big 4 firms, focusing on building ISMS and providing consulting services in IT/OT GRC security for global companies. She is a certified Lead Auditor for ISO 27001.
Outside of work, Karolina enjoys traveling, indoor skydiving, skiing, swimming, snorkeling, and playing board games.
