Monika Dobrzyńska-Mizera

Monika Dobrzyńska-Mizera, Assistant Professor at Poznan University of Technology, specializing in materials engineering with strong focus on polymer science and biomedical applications. Obtained PhD in Materials Engineering, completed habilitation in 2025.Her research integrates advanced polymer processing, modification, and characterization with particular emphasis on bio-based polymers, polymer blends, and composite materials designed for biomedical and sustainable packaging applications. Her work contributes to development of functional materials for medical use, including polymer systems tailored for biocompatibility, controlled properties, and innovative healthcare solutions.Dr. Dobrzyńska-Mizera has authored over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles and numerous conference papers. She has extensive experience in leading and participating in national and European research projects, including EIC initiatives, many of which address challenges at the interface of materials science and biomedical engineering. She actively collaborates with international research institutions and industry partners, fostering the translation of scientific results into practical biomedical applications.
