Paweł Jacewicz

I am a cybersecurity practitioner and Cyber Threat Hunting Team Lead at Standard Chartered Bank, with 17 years of experience across security research, incident response, SOC operations, threat hunting, detection engineering and cyber consulting. My work has focused on building systems and teams that proactively detect security incidents, investigate suspicious activity and turn security monitoring into practical, measurable capability. Earlier in my career I worked in national CERT, banking and consulting environments, including research and development of honeypot- and IDS-based early-warning systems, security automation, product evaluation, technical training and awareness programmes. As a mentor, I bring both hands-on technical perspective and leadership experience. I value clear thinking, credibility built through practice, and honest guidance that helps people take realistic next steps.
